Vintage Douglas DC-3 Delta Eastern Airlines Metal Sign Set John Ficklen 1990

One vintage aviation advertising signs by artist John D. Ficklen, dated 1990.  Printed on metal  Depicts a Douglas DC-3 in Fly-Eastern Air Lines livery, tail number N18124.  It is also shown in flight against a cloud backdrop, with the Eastern Great Silver Fleet markings on the nose.  Copyright 1990, John D. Ficklen.  Ficklen is an aviation illustrator whose signed prints and lithographs of historic aircraft circulate in the vintage aviation collecting market.  Sourced from the closing sale of Hollywood Cinema Arts, a North Hollywood prop house that supplied paintings and props to motion picture, television, and commercial productions for decades.  Each panel measures approximately 14 inches wide by 10 inches tall.  Edge wear and light scuffing are present throughout, consistent with age.  Some soft bending is present at the corners.
