Salted Barnacles - Black Sea Bream Fishing - Keiryu Fishing - Otoshikomi
■ Salt-pickled barnacles. Barnacles are processed for a long time with natural salt and Ajinomoto while fresh (non-heated), and finished with the amino acid glycine (the white powder in the bag contains salt, but it is glycine).
* Glycine also acts as a fish attractant and preservative, so please put it in the included storage bag with the deoxidizer and do not discard it.
■ Storage is generally fine at room temperature.
* Please avoid leaving it in a car during midsummer.
* If there is more than a month until your fishing trip during the hot season, we recommend refrigeration.
■ How about using these as a backup when collecting your own bait is difficult or when you run out of crab or raw barnacle bait?
■ How to attach the hook: Wrap the included mobilon rubber around the barnacle and hook the needle onto the rubber. For small barnacles, tie two together with rubber as needed. I use a fly hook, but a small Chinu hook should also work.
* If it's too light, adjust with a split shot or similar.
■ The number of barnacles per bag is approximately 25 to 40.
* Some barnacles repaired with Keimura EVA will be mixed in.
* The photos are for reference.
■ Barnacles are individually collected from parts that easily detach naturally, so there will be many clumps and cracks, but we believe this is close to the form that black sea bream actually prey on.
■ Each bag comes with 30 micro mobilon rubbers for attaching barnacles to hooks.
■ Ships in a simple vacuum pack (not completely sealed due to unevenness) as shown in the photo.
* Although double-packed, barnacles have sharp parts, and small holes may form during transport, allowing air to enter. This does not affect the quality, but please understand this in advance.
