Description
This copy includes a loose handwritten note from Jad Fair to Julie, signed by the artist. Moods of Elvis is a softcover pop art book by David Fair, Jad Fair, and Charles Brohawn, published by Cool Guys Art School in 2009. ISBN 978-1441490681. The cover has a screenprinted Elvis portrait. Inside is an alphabetical set of Elvis portraits, one per letter A to Z, each with a mood word and playful definition, from Affectionate to Zany. The three artists traded pages after each step of a celebrity how to draw book, so the portraits came out unintentionally skewed, an exquisite corpse style collaboration. Jad Fair founded the band Half Japanese. Please look at photos closely for condition. Packed and shipped with care from a smoke-free home. Check out my shop for hundreds of high-quality vintage objects, quality clothing, hand made items, and antique books. Combined discounted shipping always available. Questions welcome...
