Vintage Hand Woven Natural Fiber Basket Hand Tied Boho Cottagecore 15"

Beautiful large handcrafted open-weave basket featuring an unusual sculptural design with dramatically curved sides and two large wrapped handles.  The basket appears to be constructed entirely by hand using slender natural plant fibers/reeds that have been woven, bundled and secured with light-colored twine/fiber lashing. The intricate lattice bottom and open sides show substantial handwork throughout.  The reddish-brown fibers have the appearance of pine-needle or similar natural plant material; because the basket is unmarked, the exact fiber and origin are unknown.  Its airy silhouette makes this a wonderful statement piece for cottagecore, bohemian, rustic, farmhouse, primitive or eclectic vintage décor.
