Description
Beautiful antique/vintage hand-painted porcelain oval serving dish by the Carl Schumann Porcelain Factory (Arzberg, Bavaria, Germany). This piece features a striking reticulated (pierced) lattice border, integrated open side handles, and a lovely hand-painted blue monochrome coastal scene showcasing a sailboat and seaside cottage. The bottom features the authentic green crown-and-shield CS Bavaria backstamp, dating this piece between 1892 and 1923 (likely circa 1900–1918). A wonderful addition for collectors of antique German porcelain, blue-and-white decor, or Delft-style maritime motifs.
