Description
a beautiful vintage Victorian Revival style costume brooch from the mid-20th century. This ornate statement piece features a large, oval cabochon harlequin glass stone with vibrant, foiled iridescent pink and blue color flashes that beautifully simulate a fire opal. The stone is securely held in a multi-prong setting, surrounded by a heavily textured, tiered gold-tone filigree frame. The reverse side features a striking, machine -stamped guilloché sunburst pattern andis equipped with a fully functional rollover safety clasp. Excellent vintage condition with minimal wear. The clasp works perfectly, and the glass stone is free of chips or cracks Large Statement size (approximate dimensions shown on the images). Metal: Gold-tone base metal (unmarked).
