Avon Spectacular Mouse 1973 Brooch Pin Moveable Eyeglasses Goldtone Crystal Eyes

Vintage signed Avon Spectacular Mouse figural brooch from 1973, in gold tone, with a fun articulated feature — the mouse's eyeglasses actually move up and down over its crystal eyes. The mouse is finished with a brushed texture across the body, ears, and tail for a soft, lifelike look, with polished gold tone accents on the nose, feet, and curled tail. Two amber-colored crystal stones form the eyes, peeking through the moveable wire-frame glasses that swing down over them — a whimsical, well-engineered novelty detail. Signed Avon with copyright symbol on the reverse. Fitted with a secure closed C-clasp pin mechanism on the back. Size: approximately 1 1/4 x 3/4 inches — see the ruler photo for exact scale. Condition: pre-owned vintage in good condition. Gold tone finish shows light wear with a couple of tiny dark spots on the body, consistent with age. Both crystal eyes present and secure. Moveable glasses mechanism functions smoothly. Clasp is intact and secure. Please review all photos closely, as they are part of the description and show the actual item you will receive. A charming 1973 novelty piece for a collector of signed Avon jewelry, figural animal brooches, or vintage costume novelty pins. Ships securely packaged with tracking.
