VTG Portugal Cut Crystal Wine Decanter Stopper Diamond Panel Atlantis Style

Condition is excellent for vintage crystal, no chips or cracks seen, glass is clear and bright with light surface wear from normal use and a bit of label residue inside the base  Heavy hand blown and hand cut lead crystal decanter made in Portugal with original paper origin label remnant  Lower body has a tight diamond cut band that wraps all the way around, upper body has long vertical panel cuts that catch the light beautifully  Graceful teardrop body with a narrow neck and flared rim, classic rounded melon style stopper with matching vertical cuts and a ground plug that seats securely  Maker is not marked, pattern and quality are very similar to signed Atlantis Portuguese crystal pieces such as the Madalena line, but this piece is being sold as unbranded Portuguese cut crystal  Approx measurements – 11 3/4 inches tall to top of stopper, 9 inches tall without stopper, about 4 1/2 inches wide at the shoulder, about 1 1/2 inch opening at the rim  Substantial weight around 3 pounds of crystal gives a high quality feel on the bar or table  Ideal for serving wine, whiskey, brandy, or as a display decanter in a bar cabinet or on a bar cart
