Vintage Snowball Block House Quilt 80x80 Handmade Cutter Quilt with Cross Stitch

Vintage handmade patchwork quilt featuring a charming Snowball block design filled with houses, cottages, stars, florals, plaids, ginghams, and embroidered details. The mix of deep navy, red, green, cream, and brown gives it a wonderful primitive Americana / country look.  The individual blocks are full of character, with pieced houses and sweet hand-stitched details throughout. Large star blocks along the border feature patriotic red, white, and blue accents. Approximate size: 80” x 80”  CONDITION: This is being sold as a CUTTER QUILT due to areas of significant fabric loss/tearing, including a few tears through some of the house blocks. There is also a hole on the backing and a dark mark/stain on the back. Additional age-related wear, fading, loose seams, and imperfections may be present throughout. Please review all photos carefully for condition.  Despite the damage, there is so much beautiful vintage fabric and handwork remaining. A wonderful piece for repurposing into pillows, stockings, framed textile art, jackets, bags, smaller quilts, or other sewing and craft projects. It could also be displayed as-is for someone who appreciates well-loved antique and vintage textiles.
