This is an adapter that converts S-ATA & IDE/ATAPI devices to USB 2.0 connection. It comes as a set with an adapter and power supply to connect HDDs and DVD drives via USB 2.0. It also supports Serial ATA 2. Compatible with traditional Windows 8.1/8/XP/VISTA/2000/Me. Can also be used with devices such as PS3 that can use USB Mass Storage Class compatible products.
Simply insert the connector that matches the connection method of the HDD or drive you want to install, turn on the power switch, and finally plug it into the USB port of the machine you want to connect.
