Aboriginal Yidaki Didgeridoo
◼︎Manufacturer / Larry Gurruwiwi
◼︎Key / Toots F# / B
◼︎Length / 118cm
◼︎Mouthpiece / 3cm〜 3.3cm
◼︎Product Description
This didgeridoo is made by Larry, the son of the Idaki Master.
I used this didgeridoo as my primary instrument for a period, so it shows signs of use overall. Cracks have been reinforced with sugarbag (a type of resin) and vinyl tape (they reinforce cracks with vinyl tape).
The first impression is that it has good volume and is easy to play.
However, because the chamber is open, the toots are distant.
Including the clarity of the call, the way the sound blends with vocals is quite good, so I personally think this instrument might be better suited for accompanying Western songs rather than traditional didgeridoo playing.
⚠︎ Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a brand new, pristine didgeridoo.
