Yoshino Hinoki firewood splitting block with a reputation for its pleasant scent ⑥

I am listing a firewood splitting block that my father, who runs a forestry business at our family home, has been handcrafting for many years.

Size: Approximately 28cm diameter x 33cm height
(Slight variations may occur as it is handmade)
The item in the first photo is similar to the one being listed. The size for this listing is as stated above. Photos other than the first one are for illustrative purposes.
This is a luxurious firewood splitting block made from Yoshino cypress, known for its fine grain and refreshing scent of hinokitiol, a fragrance component believed to have antibacterial properties. Customers have praised its wonderful aroma. If the scent fades, you can restore it by lightly sanding the surface with sandpaper or a knife.
The height is designed for comfortable use.
It can be used as a firewood splitting block, for interior decoration, or even as a table or stool.
Please understand that as it is made of natural wood, there may be cracks or splits.

This is a genuine cypress firewood splitting block, grown over many years in a land so rich in nature that the river water is drinkable. We hope you will enjoy using it.
This firewood splitting block uses thinned wood for forest conservation. We appreciate your cooperation in protecting the forest environment.
