STANDARD FT-8900H 50W 4-Band Mobile Transceiver, Transmit/Receive Capable, Separate Unit

The FT-8900H, supporting quad bands, covers a wide frequency range with a maximum output of 50W.

I purchased this used several years ago and used it for mobile operation until I sold my vehicle, at which point I removed it.

I mainly used it for receiving, and in the summer, I even communicated with someone in Hokkaido on 29MHz FM.
It's a good model that allows for 29 and 51 FM operation during the E-sporadic season with its quad bands.

The power output, measured with an uncalibrated meter on FM, was approximately:
29MHz... about 35W
51MHz... about 30W
144/430MHz... about 40W

Points of concern:
A mini-jack is protruding from the main unit (purpose unknown).
Fading on the operation panel lettering, and cracks on the encoder knobs for the 29 and 51 bands.
The DTMF microphone's curly cord shows typical deterioration.
The separation cord is aftermarket (short cord and mounting screws are not included).
There are scratches and dirt.
Not all functions have been checked.
