VINTAGE SAGA FURS Norwegian Blue Fox Capelet Scarf Shawl Stole Wrap

Glamorous vintage SAGA Norwegian Blue Fox fur stole, originally sold by Martin’s (historic NY specialty department store). Since the Huntington store opened in 1962 and the Smith Haven location is not included, this piece most likely dates to approx 1962–1969. Crafted from genuine Norwegian Blue Fox fur w/ variegated ivory, cream, and smoky brown coloration. Features a dramatic sculptural silhouette, plush shoulder coverage, tapered ends, and a satin lining. A spectacular heirloom piece for a formal evening or holiday party. Fur remains lustrous w/ no obvious balding. The lining is intact w/ normal wrinkling and age-related spots of discoloration. The visible hand-finished stitching is consistent w/ a garment of this age. Note that vintage fur should be cleaned and serviced only by a professional furrier.
