Handmade Nordic Basket
56.10 $
Description
Purchased at Farmers Table in Ebisu, Tokyo.
This is a birch wood craft basket from Scandinavia.
The bottom is made from a single piece of shaved wood,
and it is solidly constructed with wide split wood carefully woven.
Perfect for bread or fruit baskets, or for display.
It has the natural texture of a material that will age to an amber color over time.
There is no major damage, but there are individual differences inherent to natural materials.
We ask for your understanding.
I believe the purchase price was just under 20,000 yen.
I am decluttering, so I am offering this to someone who will appreciate it.
