Akita Kaba-zaiku Lacquerware - Tiered Bento Box, Individual Plates, Toothpicks
12.46 $
Description
This is a bento box and 5 individual plates.
Made with cedar wood grain and cherry bark craft, it's perfect for those who want to enjoy a Japanese-style table setting. How about using it for serving Japanese sweets or for everyday use?
Received from relatives in Akita around 1975. Used a few times and then carefully stored by my grandmother. Please check the photos for the condition.
When zoomed in, you can see scuffs, scratches, and fine line scratches on the surface of the bento box lid.
The individual plates are from Tayama Kobo.
Recommended for those who like folk crafts, those with ties to Akita, or for everyday use.
Please understand and acknowledge that this is a Showa-era craft item and has been aged.
