Beautiful vintage hand-blown studio art glass vase in a rich amethyst / deep purple tone. This piece features: • Optic swirl body • Applied spiral wrap around the neck • Hand-tooled folded rim • Ground pontil base • Visible air bubbles and inclusions typical of studio glass The glass shifts beautifully in natural light and has excellent depth and color. Measurements: • Approx. 8 inches tall • Approx. 4 inches at widest point Condition: There are small chips/flea bites along portions of the applied spiral and a small chip near the top rim (see photos). No cracks. Displays beautifully from the front and remains structurally solid. This is a late 20th century American studio art glass decorative piece. Ships carefully packed with protective materials.
