The colorful front cover bears the Philco TechRep World Wide Service emblem and states: Field Engineering for the Armed Forces and Industry. Copyright 1951 Philco Corporation. This is an interesting early post-WWII/Cold War-era technical training publication intended for contractor personnel and associated with Philco's technical field-engineering work. The manual covers practical technical and electronics shop skills with instructional material, diagrams, lesson plans, experiments and quizzes. Topics shown include soldering irons, solder and fluxes, equipment maintenance and other hands-on shop practices. The interior retains its period technical illustrations and instructional format. Approximately 11 tall x 8½ wide based on the measurements shown in the photographs.
