🟡 Vintage - Guildcraft New York - 1940s - 1950s Collectible - Unique - Metal

This vintage collectible from the 1940s to the early 1950s was made by Guildcraft out of New York. They produced fine metal crafted tin during the 1940s to about 1970 or so. The date of production can be somewhat pinpointed by the label and font they put on the bottom of their tins and this one was of the initial design with less info then how they stamped them after the early 50s. This tin dates back about 75 years old or more now. This one is missing its lid but it’s still a great collectible piece and lids can be found from time to time, I’ve also priced it accordingly. Guildcraft was commissioned to produce these specialty tins for companies like Langendorf and Burny Bros for them to use during the holidays for their Fruitcakes, High End Cookies or Biscuits. They produced them using a textured, monochromic gold look for the special products that those companies wanted to ship and sell their goods in. Please see all photos attached for details, style, size, colors, weight and condition. Again, no lid with this offering at this time but if I come across one I’ll add it in.
