Vintage 1950s Carmen Lee Hostess Apron Black White Red MCM Rare

A fabulous survivor from the golden age of mid-century entertaining. Authentic vintage Carmen Lee cotton hostess half apron, circa 1950s, featuring an exceptionally striking black, white & true-red graphic design. Crisp black-and-white vertical stripes form the gathered skirt, contrasted by a horizontally striped waistband and vivid red ties. The showstoppers are the two oversized geometric red pockets, each accented with an unusual horizontally striped geometric appliqué. This feels less like an everyday kitchen apron and more like something made for cocktail hour, hors d'oeuvres and entertaining guests—a fantastic piece for the collector of 1950s housewares, barware and mid-century entertaining pieces.
