Ichimatsu Ningyo (Japanese traditional dolls)
Japanese Dolls
Kimono
2 dolls (male and female)
Girl: Approx. 44 cm (excluding base)
Boy: Approx. 43 cm (excluding base)
Size: No. 14
Symbol: Kokon
Name: Kyofon Honenaki Ichimatsu
Costume: Bokashi Otokonoshime Haorihakama set
These are over 30 years old.
They have been displayed indoors in a glass case for many years.
The boy's base had a sticker on the back, but the girl's did not, so I am unsure if they were purchased from the same store. (Although their skin tones differ, I believe the way their eyebrows are drawn is similar.)
There are no noticeable scratches or stains, but there are some minor scratches and stains on their faces, the colors of their kimonos have changed (especially the boy's), and there are some stains on the inside of the kimonos.
The underhair is attached to the forehead below the bangs, and the difference from the rooted hair is slightly noticeable.
(It may look like they are wearing a headband on their forehead.)
The girl is fixed to her base, but the boy is designed to stand by inserting a rod into the base.
