For those of you thinking about starting to play the guitar!
A masterpiece with a sound reminiscent of the CF Martin D18!
Excellent playability and tone, a truly superb item!
It will be delivered stored in the chipboard case shown in the close-up images!
■Tokai Gakki, the first official Japanese distributor for CF Martin, reigned supreme in the 1970s! In 1975, Tokai Gakki, in technical cooperation with CF Martin, launched the Cat's Eyes brand, which could be called a Japanese Martin. This item is a superb masterpiece from Tokai Gakki, who poured their heart into Cat's Eyes, offering a taste and sound reminiscent of the CF Martin D18, without compromise even on an entry-level model, which will surely captivate you! Original price ¥15,000 (equivalent to over ¥50,000 in current currency value).
■Exterior: There are two minor pressure marks on the top that are only visible when held up to the light. There was a dent on the right side, but it has been repaired with urethane and touched up, so it is not noticeable at first glance. The back has no noticeable scratches and is in exceptionally clean condition! The top features beautifully tight, straight-grained Sitka spruce, the best possible. The sides and back are made of rare mahogany, which is now a scarce material, and the body has a beautiful, glossy finish that looks as if it's wet! Above all, it incorporates technology similar to CF Martin, and even as an entry-level model, it is a wonderful masterpiece that allows you to fully enjoy the CF Martin D18 taste and atmosphere! Please note that while it has been polished thoroughly and is mostly unnoticeable, there are some minor hairline scratches due to age, so please be aware of this.
■Fingerboard: The dark rosewood grain is beautiful and shows no signs of use. The mother-of-pearl-like dots and Cat's Eyes position markers sparkle!
■Frets: Polished without rust or dullness. More than 80% remaining.
■Neck: Straight.
■Truss Rod: Functions without issue.
■Saddle Height: Approximately 3.7mm (at the center of the saddle).
