SOLD - Very Troubled Child Savanna Leather Duffle, Hand-Painted Animal Motif

A parade of hand-painted creatures circles this golden-tan leather duffle. Cheetahs, ibex, meerkats, pangolins, and a menagerie of African wildlife march across the hide in navy, cream, ochre, and black. Monogrammed D.L.A. in white hand-painted letters.  Very Troubled Child made this bag as a riff on the custom luggage Louis Vuitton created for The Darjeeling Limited. The brand sold its Savanna duffles for $999 retail (LV's current comparable model is $5,700). This particular piece, #4, is no longer available from the maker.  The bag is generous: 21 wide, 12 tall, 10 deep. It swallows weekend wardrobes, gym gear, or a small library. The dual top handles (7 drop) have a comfortable hand-carry weight distribution despite the bag's 3-lb heft.
