Description
I just love these beautifully made Cordae purses that were very popular from the 1930s to 1950s. This one has three compartments with a zippered section in the middle. There is also an interior pocket within that zippered section. Measures 9 1/2” inches at the widest part 6” inches tall. Excellent condition no damage to note. A little history about these purses “Corde purses are named after the French word for rope, which describes the embroidery technique used to decorate them.
