This is a summer nagajuban slip made from Takashima Crepe fabric, produced in Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, on the western shore of Lake Biwa.

Takashima Crepe is a woven fabric created by using twisted yarn (high-twist yarn) for the weft, which creates a puckered texture on the fabric surface due to the yarn's tendency to untwist.

Characterized by fine, uneven wrinkles, it offers high breathability, excellent sweat absorption, and quick-drying properties, making it a quintessential summer material known as Takashima Crepe. This is a juban made from this material.

It comes with a ro (gauze-like) half-collar, ro sleeves, and an erinuki (neckline adjuster), making it very convenient.
