Sold Vintage American Optical Sunglasses Frames AS IS For Parts or Repair

Vintage Wayfarer style American Optical Sunglasses, sold AS IS for parts or repair. These are likely from the 1960s and are a rare style. One arm is original, the other is from a vintage French pair of glasses. The size and shape matches but color doesn’t. The arms are loose and need to be tightened. Keyhole bridge. Peach or amber colored frames have silvertone AO overlapping shield rivet on temples. The greenish safety lenses have the AO logo at the top and show some scratches. The riveted-pin hinges show verdigris. Frames are marked inside with 24 (mm bridge width) and 46 (mm lens width). Overall light wear on the frames.
