UNITED STATES World Cup Wood Sign, USA, FIFA, ESPN, 2010, Wincraft, Retro-Style

This item is a vintage-style 2010 FIFA World Cup promotional shield wood sign produced for ESPN. It was created as part of their highly acclaimed “One Game Changes Everything” advertising and marketing campaign.  It features a custom, stylized bald eagle clutching a classic soccer ball over a red, wood-grain patterned background, styled after traditional South African hand-painted street signs. The top reads UNITED STATES, while the bottom displays the campaign slogan ONE GAME CHANGES EVERYTHING right above the prominent ESPN logo.  The artwork itself was originally commissioned by ESPN from AM I Collective Studios in Cape Town, South Africa, which created 33 unique national murals to celebrate the 2010 host country's distinct artistic heritage. This shield was manufactured as a promotional collectible piece or store display piece during the tournament.  There is a hole in the top middle so you can hang it on the wall.   It measures 13 x 11. The sign thickness is 0.25.  It comes new and sealed.  However, the bottom part of the plastic wrap is torn and the bottom point is slightly scuffed, along work the top right corner as seen in the pics.
