Up for sale is a beautiful vintage German souvenir doll made by Hans Völk. This doll represents the traditional Trachten folk dress of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald) region. Markings: Marked on the back of the neck with the Hans Völk Crown and Shield logo and the size 22 1/2. Costume: Features the iconic Bollenhut (straw hat with large red pom-poms), signifying an unmarried woman in local tradition. She wears a black velvet-style bodice, white lace-trimmed sleeves, and a red-trimmed skirt with a black apron. Features: She has brown hair in original braids and blue eyes. Excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Clothing is crisp with minimal dust from display. Please see all photos for details on the condition and markings.
