Thank you for looking.

This item was purchased for ¥25,000 as a set of Edo-period tea ceremony utensils.

A rare lacquered tea box is paired with tea ceremony utensils.
The matcha bowl has a deep character and a wonderful atmosphere.
The powder container has a subtle, lovely light pink hue, and it's moving to think that it exists here after so many years.

There are cracks in two of the tea ceremony utensils, the whisk holder and the cloth holder.
(Please refer to photos 10 and 11.)
There are cracks in areas other than those circled.

The leather cord and the lacquered tea box both show signs of age, so it might be better to display them rather than use them for actual ceremonies.
Or perhaps they could be rearranged for use?

The tea bowl is in good condition with no cracks or chips.
There seem to be no other particular issues.

I found it to be more than I could handle, so would anyone looking for such an item be interested?

Returns are not accepted, so please consider carefully.
