Description
VALLEY ARTS M Series Body

This is a Japanese-made production model M Series body from VALLEY ARTS, a brand made famous by Steve Lukather's custom guitars.
I am selling this body as I recently replaced it with a red one.
While I cannot be certain of the wood type, I recall it being ash.

The body is routed to accommodate EMG pickups in an SSH configuration.
It also has a space for a 9V battery, making it ideally structured for active pickups.
To change the battery, you will need to remove the pickguard. However, I rarely play plugged into an amp at home, so the battery lasted about two years for me.

It will be delivered with a 2-point tremolo unit and arm.

The neck pocket dimensions are standard. Please refer to the scale in the photos.
For reference, Stratocaster neck ends have a radius, while Telecaster neck ends are straight.
As you can see in the photos, the end of this body's neck pocket is straight, like a Telecaster neck.
Therefore, when attaching a Stratocaster neck, there may be gaps on both sides of the neck end.
(Though these may not be very visible with the pickguard on.)
The original neck that came with this body was a straight type with 22 frets extending out.

I recommend measuring the distance from the 0th to the 12th fret of the neck you plan to install. Then, place the neck in the body's neck pocket and position it so that the distance from the 1st string's 12th fret to the top of the 1st string's bridge saddle matches the previously measured distance. (For Stratocaster types, this is 324mm.)

The jack is a type with a power switch for active pickups.
There are a few extra pickguard screw holes from when I replaced the pickguard myself.
Please check the photos.

The blue color has faded, so there is a difference in color depth under the pickguard.

Recommended for those who own a Stratocaster-type guitar but do not want to modify their current body to install EMG pickups.
No claims or returns accepted.

Immediate purchase is welcome.
