Vintage Squash Blossom Turquoise White Black Handmade Beaded Safety Pin Necklace  This Squash Blossom necklace was created by Margaret Hatfield, my grandmother (of the original Hatfields and McCoys), in the early 1980's.  It is crafted out of hundreds of black safety pins and 1000's of tiny white and turquoise blue glass seed beads. The safety pins were then wired together to creat this amazing one-of-a-kind statement piece. Hours and hours of painstaking work went into this piece and took about a year to complete.  Amazing design and detail.  It is in like new condition. No wear to the black finish on the safety pins. This art piece is a must have for the retro southwest Americana collector.
