Description
The Amaterasu Omikami, saddened by the violent actions of Susanoo-no-Mikoto, hid herself in the Ama-no-Iwato cave, plunging the world into darkness and causing many disasters.
Therefore, the gods gathered the myriad (Yaoyorozu) gods, devised a plan to lure Amaterasu Omikami out of the Ama-no-Iwato cave, and succeeded brilliantly.
