Vintage Avon Silver Tone Magnetic Convertible Mesh Earrings – 1999 Modernist

Vintage Avon magnetic convertible earrings from 1999 featuring a bold oval design with a silver tone mesh-textured center framed by smooth concentric ovals. The magnetic center discs can be removed and interchanged; this pair includes the silver mesh inserts only.  A striking example of Avon’s late 1990s modernist-inspired jewelry — sleek, chunky, and versatile enough to complement both casual and dressy looks.  They measure approximately 1 1/8″ long by 7/8″ wide. They have post style backs and new silver tone replacement backings. Unsigned.   Excellent vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with age.
