Description
Thank you for looking.
This is a Hannya mask.
It is an old mask for warding off evil spirits.
It was displayed at my parents' home, so it shows signs of use.
There is dust, dirt, stains, dullness, scratches, sun damage, etc. Please check the photos for details.
One of the horns is broken off. It was attached with glue and string, but the string has broken. It will be sent as is.
The other horn's glue has also come off, but it is still attached with string. (It is wobbly.)
There is a name on it, but I am not knowledgeable enough to identify it. There is a stain on the name.
As this is an old item, please review the photos before considering your purchase.
Size:
Board: Approx. 45.5 cm (height) x 30.5 cm (width)
Mask: Approx. 34 cm (height) x 20 cm (width)
Please note that these are amateur measurements, so there may be some errors.
It will be shipped in recycled cardboard.
Thank you.
