This is a wall hanging featuring two Bitchu Kagura masks: Susanoo-no-Mikoto and Kushinada-hime. It is inscribed as an Important Intangible Cultural Property and can be displayed as a traditional folk toy. The two masks are attached to a wooden board and can be hung with a string.

These are masks of Susanoo-no-Mikoto and Inada-hime, characters from Bitchu Kagura, an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Okayama Prefecture. Based on the story of Susanoo-no-Mikoto slaying the Yamata no Orochi, these are popular as a pair for wall hanging and as folk toys, displayed as talismans and lucky charms.

Personal names were written on the areas that are whitened out in the images, so I erased all the writing on the back with an eraser sponge (melamine foam).
