Vintage Monkey Pod Wood Tray, Mid-Century Hand-Carved Serving or Display Tray

Vintage Mid-Century carved wood serving tray measuring approximately 15” long by 7½” wide and weighing only 12 ounces. Carved from one piece of lightweight tropical wood, likely monkey pod or acacia, with a warm brown finish, beautiful natural grain, gently raised sides and small finger-grip notches. Estimated 1960s–1970s. Preowned Good vintage condition with light surface scratches, finish wear and small marks consistent with age and previous use. Natural knots and variations in the wood add to its character. No cracks or major damage noted. The underside shows additional surface wear. Please review all photos closely, as they are part of the description. A beautiful and useful Mid-Century serving piece for appetizers, snacks, bread, pastries or drinks. It would also look great holding fruit on a kitchen counter, arranged as a dining-table centerpiece, used on a coffee bar or displayed with other vintage wooden serveware. Love vintage?
