Up for sale is a beautiful mid-century modern flower-shaped bowl from Stangl Pottery (Trenton, NJ). This piece is part of the sought-after Antique Gold line, featuring a striking hand-painted turquoise/aqua base accented with a brushed 22k gold wash. Details & Condition: Model Number: 4036 (Visible on base) Design: Scalloped, fluted edges resembling a blooming flower. Markings: Original Stangl backstamp with Patent Pending and Trenton, N.J. Dimensions: Approximately 6.5 in diameter (standard for the 4036 mold). Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. As is common with this line, there is light, age-appropriate thinning of the gold wash on the high ridges, which adds to its antique character.
