Offered for your consideration is a beautiful pair of art glass individual nut dishes/salt cellars by BLENKO. These triangular dishes are a quintessential example of Mid-Century Modern American art glass. Color & Glow: Amber: A rich, warm honey-wheat tone. Lavender: A delicate amethyst/orchid shade. Special Feature: The lavender dish exhibits a striking violet-blue fluorescence under a 365nm blacklight (see photos). Condition: The Amber dish remains in excellent vintage condition. The Lavender dish has an obvious surface scratch on the exterior wall as clearly shown in photos. This scratch can be felt with a fingernail but does not threaten the structural integrity of the piece and is on the exterior. There are no other chips, cracks, or flea bites to the points.
