These are individual plates made with Takamatsu lacquerware, found during a kitchen cupboard cleanup. They have been stored at home since the Showa era.
These are natural wood plates with beautiful grain.
The red color with black trim and gold pine needles, and possibly ginkgo leaves, stand out. The front has a slight indentation, while the back is rounded for stability.
The box has stains and scuffs due to age.
Approximate measurements by an amateur: 15.5 x 14 x 0.5 cm.
