Vintage 1998 Vera Bradley “Classic Navy” Autumn Leaves and Paisley Quilted Tote

Vera Bradley Classic Navy Quilted Tote Vintage EUC  This is a vintage Vera Bradley tote in the Classic Navy pattern, an early cotton quilted print from the brand’s 1990s catalog. The navy ground is covered in a small paisley cone print, framed top and bottom by a leaf border in teal, rust, and gold. Inside is a burgundy quilted lining with a loop tab at the top opening. There’s a front slip pocket on the exterior and long double straps sized for shoulder or hand carry.  One detail worth pointing out if you collect these: the Vera Bradley name is printed directly into the border fabric itself, not just on a sewn in label. That’s typical of the brand’s earlier production runs before they moved to a woven tag only, so it’s a good way to date the bag if you’re building a vintage collection.  Condition is excellent. No stains, no rips, no fading, no loose threads. This one has clearly been stored well.
