【Excellent Condition】Wajima-nuri Three-Tiered Lacquerware Bento Box with Stand, Gold Leaf Inlay of Pine, Bamboo, Plum, Crane, and Tortoise, Traditional Crafts from Ishikawa

This is a genuine Wajima-nuri three-tiered tiered box with a stand, a traditional craft from Ishikawa Prefecture.

It was found during a cleanup at my parents' home and is a genuine item purchased from the specialty store Nitta Urushi Kōbō.
The lacquer has a wonderful sheen, and the auspicious Pine, Bamboo, Plum, Crane, and Turtle motif is intricately depicted using the delicate chinkin technique, representing the highest level of craftsmanship.

[Tiered Box Features]
• Chinkin Technique: A unique Wajima technique where the lacquer surface is carved and gold powder is embedded.
This is an extremely auspicious pattern depicting pine, bamboo, plum blossoms, cranes, and even turtles at the base.

• Cloth-Coated Joints and Ji-no-ko Base: Includes Japanese paper, proof of the traditional nunokise (cloth-coating) and ji-no-ko (earth powder) base preparation.
It is sturdily constructed to last a lifetime.

• With Stand: A dedicated stand (tray) for the tiered box is also included, creating a very elegant presentation.
