Showa Retro Tsugaru Lacquerware Square Tableware [Approx. 35cm] Set of 8, Japanese Tableware, Also for Commercial Use

This is a set of 8 square trays made with Tsugaru lacquerware from the Showa period.

The beautiful mottled pattern, created by layering black, vermilion, and yellow, is characteristic of Tsugaru lacquerware, with each piece having a unique finish.
The deep texture, born from repeatedly applying and polishing lacquer, gains more character with use.

The photos show tableware arranged on the trays for a visual representation of their use.
These trays are not only perfect for serving meals but also practical for organizing tea sets, sweets, or sake cups. They are highly recommended for both home use and for commercial establishments such as Japanese restaurants, cafes, and inns.

While there are some signs of use and minor scuffs, the overall condition is good, and they can still be used with pleasure.
Please understand this as the unique charm of vintage items.
