Description
Decorative Asian styled ceramic urn featuring cherry blossom tree and bird motif with crackle glaze finish. Cream colored body with floral artwork and artist-style signature/chop mark detail. Complete with the black lid. Displays well with light age/use wear and kiln imperfections consistent with production. Beautiful shelf or entryway display piece. The bottom is fully glazed, which is more common on decorative export ceramics and some studio pieces Those little circular dimples/pits are kiln/glaze imperfections from production The blue/gray spotting underneath is usually from firing supports or glaze reactions The transfer-like dot pattern in the birds and blossoms suggests at least part of the artwork may be decal/transferred with hand-finished accents rather than fully hand-painted freehand Height: 11' Opening: 4 Base: 4.5
