“Beggar’s Hand” Opaline milk glass spill vase of a hand holding up a cup. Made by French company Portieux Vallérysthal. Made between 1914-1933, pattern number 7198. A spill vase is a small cylindrical vase for containing splints, spills, and tapers for transferring fire, for example to light a candle or pipe from a lit fire. Great for use today to hold Q-tips, make-up brushes, small perfumes or as an egg cup! Measures approx 3.75 inches tall by 2 inches in diameter at widest point.
