Ceramic Vase, Royal Trico, Two-handled Art Deco Motifs Japan Handpainted Vintage
N/A
Excellent condition, needs a bit of a clean, which I will not do because of the delicate nature or the piece. Glazed accents are raised. Measures approximately 6 1/2 inches high. Wabi-sabi - The imperfections make perfection. Royal Trico was a Japanese pottery manufacturer based in Nagoya that produced decorative ceramics primarily during the 1940s. The company created hand-painted pottery pieces featuring Art Deco and traditional Japanese design elements for export markets. Royal Trico pieces are valued by collectors of mid-century Japanese ceramics for their distinctive hand-painted designs and historical significance as post-war Japanese export ware. These pieces appeal to vintage pottery collectors and those interested in Japanese decorative arts from the 1940s era.
