Vintage USSR Blue White Porcelain Vase Gzhel Style Russian Folk Art Village

Beautiful vintage Soviet-era porcelain vase, marked “Made in USSR” on the underside.  The vase features a charming blue-and-white hand-painted-style pastoral landscape wrapping around the body, including a small country house with curling chimney smoke, evergreen trees, fencing, birds, water and a water-lily motif. The simple cobalt-blue decoration against the creamy white porcelain gives it the classic look associated with Russian Gzhel-style ceramics and folk pottery.  The tall cylindrical form has gently rounded shoulders and a flared rim accented in deep cobalt blue. Its scenic village design makes it especially attractive displayed on its own or filled with flowers.  Measurements: approximately 9.5” tall; top opening approximately 3” across.  Mark: “Made in USSR” on base.  Condition: Good vintage condition with signs of wear consistent with age. Some minor surface/foot wear and small imperfections may be present.
