Description
About the Manufacturer Origins: Founded in 1964 and based out of Wisconsin, the company became highly popular for producing affordable indoor oil lamps, specialty smokeless lamp oil, and outdoor yard torches. The Bottle Glass: The glass base container (or fount) itself was manufactured for them by the Foster-Forbes Glass Company, which is why some collectors cross-reference this model under both names. Historical Context: This particular gold stenciled American Eagle design was released during the mid-1970s as part of a series celebrating the United States Bicentennial. This lamps glass definitely has some staining. Could use a new wick eventually. Still works well.
