Versatile use! Retro-modern lacquered writing box/document box with a bonus of small envelopes!
10.89 $
Description
Found at my parents' home.
This is a stylish, elegant, yet somewhat modern and cute, small writing box/document box featuring a maki-e (gold lacquer sprinkled on lacquer) design depicting the world of Manyoshu waka poetry, as shown in the photos.
How about using it to store letters and photos you want to cherish, stamps you plan to use, or cute stickers?
*As a bonus, 9 small envelopes (pochibukuro) are included.
Although it is unused, it has been stored in a drawer at my parents' home for many years without its box. Upon close inspection, there are faint, fine line-like scratches (which could not be captured with my iPhone). Therefore, the condition is not listed as unused.
The lid has a sense of depth and richness, especially in the areas with beautiful maki-e. The lid is not flat but has a very shallow, trapezoidal, three-dimensional shape.
[Size]
- External dimensions (when lid is closed): Approximately 15.7cm x 22cm, Height: approximately 4cm
- Internal dimensions (when lid is removed): Approximately 13.7cm x 20cm, Height: approximately 3.2cm
- Weight: Approximately 384g (Lid: approx. 193g, Box: approx. 191g)
*Please consider this item only if you understand that there are fine, faint scratches due to long-term storage at my parents' home. Those who are sensitive to such details should refrain from purchasing.
*I am also listing various other items.
If you wish to purchase multiple items, I will offer a discount if they can be shipped together.
Please consult me in the comment section before purchasing if you are interested. However, please understand that even during negotiations, I will prioritize immediate purchases according to Mercari's rules.
*I apologize, but I cannot accommodate requests for the creation of dedicated pages. Thank you for your understanding.
