Kōkōgeisha Kyoto Lacquerware Letter Box Heian Kōseki Masaya Suzuki (Hyōsaku III)

This is a design of a cedar grove reminiscent of the scenery of Kitayama Cedar in Kyoto.
In addition to its original use as a letter box (for letters, documents, and stationery),
it can also be used as a storage box for small items such as glasses and accessories,
or as interior decor for Japanese-style rooms.

Although unused, it has been handled by an amateur with bare hands during long-term storage.
There is also a small protrusion on the upper right of the lid (indicated by a yellow circle in the image).
Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about minor details or desire a perfect item.

It comes in a magnificent wooden box with a string, but if you do not need the wooden box, please let us know at the time of purchase, and we will deliver only the main unit.
