Description
Excellent pre-owned condition! Vintage Solid Brass Coal Scuttle Basket Bucket Swing Handle 7” Fireplace Decor. Smoke free home. Vintage solid brass coal scuttle-style basket/bucket featuring a deep rounded vessel, flared angular rim, decorative back panel and hinged swing handle. The unusual shape gives it a wonderful miniature Victorian-style fireplace accessory look. Measures approximately 7” high with handle × 5.5” across. The piece retains an old partial foil/paper label on the bottom, although I can’t confidently read enough of it to identify the maker. It has a rich, naturally aged brass patina with tarnish, oxidation, scratches and surface wear consistent with age. Great for vintage brass décor, fireplace décor, Victorian-style decorating, farmhouse interiors, or as a small decorative container.
